2005
This year also sees the launch of a new laser calibration unit for tools of, i.e., PCB-drilling machines with an extra- ordinary measuring performance: rotating bits with diameters of 30µm.
2005
Establishment of an international network of Sales- & Service partners and strategic internal re-organization to meet growing complexity in customers production environment and to ascertain Systemtechnik Hölzer GmbH`s steady future growth.
2004
New era of Systemtechnik Hölzer GmbH product philosophy, with machines technically aiming at contemporary demand in LVHM (low volume high mix) PCB-markets of the EMEA region. Stressing its modular concept, the cell serves as a platform for various applications in populated PCB -processing: conventional depanelling, marking (Inkjet/Laser), laser-depanelling and flexfoil-punching.

2002
Major changes occur in management of Systemtechnik Hölzer GmbH when daughter Silvia Hölzer-Becker is named sole Managing Director.
1996
Investment in foil-punching technology to serve growing number of international Systemtechnik Hölzer GmbH customers in this market.

1989
Systemtechnik Hölzer GmbH markets european-wide the first depanelling machine for populated PCBs, assumes a long-lasting leader-position in terms of R&D and becomes an inspiration and standards for our competitors in the market up til today. Outstanding features in the years to come are machines build on granite-frames with air-bearings and linear-motor technology, singulation from bottom-/top-side and PCB-transportation with turntables, multifold workstations or in-line. The international customers included Bosch, Siemens, VDO, Kostal, Temic, Braun, sites of the “big-five” EMS, etc., most of which still run our machines more than one shift on a daily basis.

1988
Appearance of Systemtechnik Hölzer GmbH as a spin-off of Schmoll GmbH. The different business units include up til today (specialty) mechanical engineering, air-bearing technology and punch-tool manufacture.
1980
In the course of organizational changes, the organization of Heinz Schmoll gives way to the foundation of Schmoll GmbH, with Wolfgang Hölzer occupying the position of Managing Director. The number of employees rises to > 70 people.
1962
After an intense design period Heinz Schmoll launches the first PCB drilling-machine, from which all subsequently designed machines for PCB-processing evolved.
1960
Wolfgang Hölzer joins the business of Heinz Schmoll, being not just an employee but soon also the son-in-law. He sets new objectives, has fundamental impact on the company`s future orientation in mechanical engineering and largely contributes to the entrepreneurs` success.
